How to donate to the Mobile Public Library:

All donations to the Mobile Public Library are tax deductible.

Monetary Donations:

• Bring cash or check to any Mobile Public Library location.

Material Donations:

All Mobile Public Library locations will accept book and other material donations. Contact the library location before bringing donations.
If you have multiple boxes of books to donate, we may ask that you take them to the loading dock behind the West Regional Library since they have room for larger donations.

The Friends of the Mobile Public Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization, formed in 1983, which is dedicated to supporting the Mobile Public Library. A membership to the Friends is a great way to support the library. They provide financial support for many Library service including the Summer Library Celebration, special material purchase, the staff recognition program and even matched the grant funding needed to purchase the our bookmobile!
