The beautiful theatre seats approximately 230 people and can be reserved for public use.

Reading Room

The Fiction collection is housed in Ben May Main Library's beautiful reading room.

The reading room has plenty of tables available for quiet study on both floors and public computers on the first floor.

Children's Department

Kids have their own space!

The rooms house all the children's fiction books, non-fiction books, movies, TV shows, educational videos, board books and reference books.

Kids can also find places to read, tables to study and a computer room just for them.

AWE Children's Educational Workstation

The AWE Children's Educational Workstations are designed for ages 2 - 8.

Storytime

LEGO MY LIBRARY STORYTIME
Most Mondays at 4 p.m.

Families with young children are invited to listen to great books, and then build LEGO (Duplo) creations inspired by the stories.

FAMILY STORYTIME
Most Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Preschoolers & Caregivers
Join us for stories, songs, dancing, fingerplays, felt boards, rhythm instruments and simple art activities.

AT&T Technology Center

Public computers are available all over the library, but the largest number are in the Technology Center. Also, staff members are on hand to help you.

Whether your business is just getting started or already established, our Connection Center has the tools you need We have meeting spaces, sample business plans and librarians that can help find the resources you need to do business better.

3D Printer

The public is invited to come to the MaYker Lab to tinker or to work on their ongoing projects!
Email Ms. Coleman at lcoleman@mplonline.org to schedule time in the second floor lab.

You can also submit a .stl or .obj file to be printed from one of the library's 3d printers.

Teen Corner

Find all the young adult books, paperbacks, video games, magazines and comic books in this area.

Also in this area are computers just for teens.

Reference room

Head up to the second floor to get help from knowledgeable Reference Librarians and use the extensive Reference Collection.

The meeting room has a capacity of 60 and is available to be reserved for public use.

Includes a galley kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave.
