AARP Foundation Tax Aide at Ben May Main Library
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides tax assistance to those who qualify, free of charge, with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income.
AARP is offering free tax preparation help with walk-in appointments at Ben May Main Library in the Ben May Meeting Room now through April 15 on the following days and times:
Wednesdays | 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Fridays | 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) at West Regional Library
The VITA program has operated for over 50 years, offering free tax help to people who generally make $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, and limited English-speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. VITA is scheduling appointments for Saturdays from January 31 through April 11, 2026, at the West Regional Library. Make your appointment online at here or call (251) 219-0606.
