Designed to be welcoming for neurodivergent children, this inclusive storytime incorporates movement, music and stories along with American Sign Language (ASL). Activities presented generally fall within a preschool interest level. Siblings and therapists are welcome.

Its time for a Magna Challenge at the Toulminville Branch!

Magna-Tiles are shaped tiles with magnets along the edges that can be used for building and creating. Not only are they super fun to use, but they also provide all kinds of learning through play.  Come show your creativity by building something extraordinary with magna tiles. Playing chess improves concentration and problem-solving skills. Join us at Semmes Library for chess club designed for ages 6 and up.

Creative hands at work!

Join us in the Emma Cortez-Harris Room to work on your Cross Stitch projects, and chat with fellow crafters. Beginners are welcome! If you would like to learn to Cross Stitch, we’d be happy to teach you. Come create unique art of your favorite tv shows, holidays, animes, kpop and more. Pick up a free “Make and Take” kit. This class is designed for adults and teens but children accompanied by adults are also welcome.

Afterschool in the Teen Space at West Regional Library!

This is a laid-back meetup to unwind playing games with other teens. We play lots of video games, both new and classic – Playstation, Nintendo and Xbox available. We also have board games and other tabletop activities. There are computers to play on as well if you enjoy PC games. It’s all about unwinding and having fun after school.

It’s story-time with a musical twist.

Experience your favorite stories old and new, come to life with narrator and, guitarist Mr. Dave, and of course, you. Each meeting, we’ll read a story together, and perform one or two sing-alongs as well.
