Food Panty: Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 A.M. to Noon. Must have ID.

Food Pantry: Fridays from 9:00 A.M. - Noon 

• Eligibility to receive help is based on a number of factors. Call our office to make sure you qualify.
• including basic hygiene items, clothes, diapers through discipleship, gas vouchers and Christmas Store (applications take in October)  

Free Hot Meal: open to all every first Friday of the month. From 9:00 A.M. - Noon with limited availability.

Free Services for the Homeless    

• Showers, Free Clothing and Shoes and Hot Meals - Mondays from 11:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.                                                   
• Brown Bag lunches every Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.

Services provided at this clinic include the following: 

Free services include early childhood resources, GED and English Language Learner classes, and a wide range of help for work training and job search assistance. Free GED Classes offered at several locations including on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4p.m. at Ben May Main Library in the Technology Center. Registration is required, learn more. Medical and disability services are available as well.

Lending a hand to travelers in need

We partner with Travelers Aid International to provide discounted bus tickets to travelers who need help completing their journey. Travelers Aid helps all kinds of travelers. This could be a vulnerable young person trying to get home, an elderly person who may have missed their bus, or just someone who’s down on their luck.

Early Head Start (EHS) comprehensive early childhood development programs provide children and families with access to a range of services such as health screenings, referrals and follow-up support, parenting resources, and social services. 

Research shows that EHS positively impacts children’s cognitive, language, and social-emotional development; family self-sufficiency; and parental support of child development

Gulf States provides assistance to families and individuals working their way through the complexities of the process of immigrating to or staying in the United States.

Habitat works toward our vision by building strength, stability and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. 

Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

• We serve anyone in Mobile county who has an emergency food need. 

Food Pantry: 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at8:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. Semmes and Wilmer residents only.

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive alcohol and drug recovery program for females ages 18 and up. We provide a twelve-week residential program that embraces all aspects of addiction and recovery, including spirituality.

We provide several core services, including

• as well as additional services to help individuals.

I&FS strives to meet the unmet needs of individuals with developmental disabilities developed before the age of 22. 

Assist with funds for transportation, bills, etc. 

Help connect people with other resources and have an annual food, summer building program and toy drive.

Infirmary Cancer Care, an affiliate of the UAB O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, provides comprehensive oncology services to the Mobile area and surrounding communities. Access Infirmary Health’s full network of resources, along with the research and expertise available through the UAB O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center. From diagnosis, to treatment, and beyond, Infirmary Cancer Care is here to provide patients with cancer the care that they need.
