Saraland Public Library Closure

The Saraland Public Library will be closed today, Thursday, February 5, 2026, due to a facilities maintenance issue. The Library will have a delayed opening tomorrow, Friday, February 6, 2026. The building will be open to the public at noon.

Mardi Gras Library Closures

ALL Mobile Public Library locations will be closed Sunday, February 15 through Tuesday, February 17, 2026, for Mardi Gras.

Branch-Specific Closures:

  • Ben May Main Library will close early at 5 p.m. on the following parade days: January 30–31 and February 5–13, 2026. 
  • Ben May Main Library and Local History & Genealogy will be closed on Saturday, February 14. 
  • Trinity Gardens Community Library will be closed Sunday, February 15 through Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Sharing the Love at Mobile Public Library

Stop by your local Mobile Public Library or download the activities online to participate from home and take part in our Valentine’s program for patrons of all ages. 

Patrons can enjoy literacy-themed Valentine’s activities, a fun coloring sheet, and the opportunity to write a “Love Note” sharing what they love most about their library.
