In 1977, the City of Mobile celebrated Mobile’s 275th birthday by burying a time capsule filled with Spirit of Mobile memorabilia at Fort Condé, to be opened 50 years later, in 2026!  

Show your Mobile spirit by unearthing clues about Mobile’s past, and drop by to pick up or turn in your answer sheet at the Local History & Genealogy Division of Mobile Public Library, 753 Government St., before the capsule is set to be unearthed on July 5 to receive a prize!
