Mardi Gras Library Closures

ALL Mobile Public Library locations will be closed Sunday, February 15 through Tuesday, February 17, 2026, for Mardi Gras.

Branch-Specific Closures:

  • Ben May Main Library will close early at 5 p.m. on the following parade days: January 30–31 and February 5–13, 2026. 
  • Ben May Main Library and Local History & Genealogy will be closed on Saturday, February 14. 
  • Trinity Gardens Community Library will be closed Sunday, February 15 through Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Bring your favorite fluff-stuffed friend to the Parkway Branch Library for some fun! With some cozy pillows and fuzzy blankets, everyone is invited to spend a special afternoon cuddling up, enjoying some snacks, and watching the Disney classic, Toy Story (1995) G- 1hr. 35mins.; Computer-animated tale centering on the rivalry between two children's toys: Woody, a cowboy doll who's the leader and the brains of the group, and a cocky spaceman named Buzz Lightyear. But the two learn to band together when they're faced with the bratty kid from next door, who just loves to make mincemeat out of toys.
