Mardi Gras Library Closures

ALL Mobile Public Library locations will be closed Sunday, February 15 through Tuesday, February 17, 2026, for Mardi Gras.

Branch-Specific Closures:

  • Ben May Main Library will close early at 5 p.m. on the following parade days: January 30–31 and February 5–13, 2026. 
  • Ben May Main Library and Local History & Genealogy will be closed on Saturday, February 14. 
  • Trinity Gardens Community Library will be closed Sunday, February 15 through Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Let's have a Spooktacular Good Time!

Join us in the meeting room dressed in your best Halloween costumes. Enjoy snacks and drinks while mixing and mingling with friends. 

We will be watching Disney's Haunted Mansion (PG-13, 2hr. 3mins, 2023). The movie tells the story of a mother-son duo, Gabbie and Travis, as they attempt to get rid of the ghosts haunting the mansion. They seek the assistance of a priest, along with a paranormal tour guide and a psychic, for this exorcism. However, their task is complicated by the presence of entities like the Hatbox Ghost.
