A literary event with Vaunda Micheaux Nelson...

Join us at the Ben May Main Library in Bernheim Hall for a special event featuring esteemed author Vaunda Micheaux Nelson. The event will celebrate Mrs. Nelson's award-winning book, "Bad News for Outlaws: The Remarkable Life of Bass Reeves, Deputy U.S. Marshal," which received the 2010 Coretta Scott King Author Award, the New Mexico-Arizona Book Award, and the Once Upon a World Children's Book Award. The event aims to promote a love for literature and storytelling among young readers, with a focus on enhancing their academic and personal development through narrative.
