A talk with Richard Hobcraft “Freeman” Allan III.

Join us with Richard Hobcraft “Freeman” Allan III for a discussion on his two-volume series, “Torn Apart,” a genealogical study tracing his family roots from the 1600s through the 1890s. The author’s 7th great-grandparents, Urbain and Marguerite Baudrau of Montreal arrived in North America in the 1630s and created one of the best authenticated family trees on our continent.

This was augmented in the 1980s – 2010 by formation of the Baudrau dit Graveline Association, publication of its quarterly magazine, The Descendants, as well as large family reunions in Quebec, New England and along the Gulf Coast into the 21st century. More than fifty exciting and documented generational stories enliven this 15-year study.
