Join us at the Semmes Regional Library for a captivating art exhibition presented by the Shibui Chapter of the Sumi-e Society of America, honoring the profound impact and artistic legacy of esteemed teacher Mary Rodning. This special show will feature a diverse collection of Sumi-e ink paintings, showcasing the techniques and inspiration cultivated by Mary throughout her teaching career.

The exhibition will run from April 23 to May 20, allowing the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the artwork and reflect on Mary’s contributions to the art community. 

We invite you to the opening reception on Thursday, April 23, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and enjoy refreshments as we celebrate Mary’s remarkable journey as both an artist and an educator.
