Mardi Gras Library Closures

ALL Mobile Public Library locations will be closed Sunday, February 15 through Tuesday, February 17, 2026, for Mardi Gras.

Branch-Specific Closures:

  • Ben May Main Library will close early at 5 p.m. on the following parade days: January 30–31 and February 5–13, 2026. 
  • Ben May Main Library and Local History & Genealogy will be closed on Saturday, February 14. 
  • Trinity Gardens Community Library will be closed Sunday, February 15 through Sunday, February 22, 2026.

Red, green, pink, blue, purple, black and white, we're coloring our world with colorful movies! 

Take a break from the heat and join us at Grand Bay Library in the meeting room for cool summer movies. This Tuesday, we will enjoy the feature film Cruella (2021), PG-13/ 2hrs. 23mins.; Disney’s live-action feature film about the rebellious early days of one of cinema’s most notorious – and notoriously fashionable – villains, the legendary Cruella de Vil. Set during the 1970s punk rock revolution in London, the story follows a clever and creative young grifter named Estella, who is determined to become a successful designer

Popcorn and drinks will be provided.
