Mobile Public Library Closed on Thursday Due to Hurricane Francine

Due to deteriorating weather conditions related to Hurricane Francine, Mobile Public Library will be closing early at 6 P.M. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, and will be closed on Thursday, September 12, 2024.  

The safety of our patrons and staff is our top priority, and we encourage everyone to stay informed and take appropriate precautions.

We expect to resume normal operating hours on Friday, September 13, 2024. Please check your news and social media channels for additional updates.

Have you always wanted to join a book club but hesitated because of the assigned reading? Join us at the Grand Bay Library for our adult book club. We will read and discuss a selection of novels each month.
