Community Resources Guide

Limited financial and material assistance for individuals and families experiencing a financial crisis.

Programs Available: 

Transitional Housing Program, Sybil H. Smith Family Village, (SSFV)

Provides clothing and items free of charge to our program participants, helping them on their path to self-sustainability. 

• Clothing assistance is also available to the local community by appointment only.

Food Pantry: Fridays from 9:00 A.M. - Noon 

• Eligibility to receive help is based on a number of factors. Call our office to make sure you qualify.
• including basic hygiene items, clothes, diapers through discipleship, gas vouchers and Christmas Store (applications take in October)  

Free Hot Meal: open to all every first Friday of the month. From 9:00 A.M. - Noon with limited availability.

Free Services for the Homeless    

• Showers, Free Clothing and Shoes and Hot Meals - Mondays from 11:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.                                                   
• Brown Bag lunches every Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.

Food Pantry: 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. 

The Soup Kitchen: Hot meals each Wednesday.  

Health Fair: twice a year to provide non-invasive health and wellness screenings to families in our community.  

Clothing Closet: operates on a quarterly basis to provide clothing to needy families in the community. 

Food Bank: Monday and Thursday from Noon to 3:00 P.M. (must sign in by 10:00 A.M.)

Free Meal Wednesdays at 5:30 P.M.
Hot Breakfast Sundays from 9:00 A.M. to 9:20 A.M.

New and Gently Used Clothing and Shoes 

• Free Noon to 3:00 P.M. Monday and Thursday

Clothing Ministry: Tuesdays from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
