Goodwill Gulf Coast

Free services include early childhood resources, GED and English Language Learner classes, and a wide range of help for work training and job search assistance. Free GED Classes offered at several locations including on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4p.m. at Ben May Main Library in the Technology Center. Registration is required, learn more. Mobile Parks and Recs Community Centers

The City of Mobile has fifteen community centers: nine large centers with multiple rooms and gymnasiums and six small centers located in neighborhood parks. Our center staff and partners provide daily classes and activities, as well as, seasonal sports leagues. Most of our centers can be rented or reserved for private events. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile

Ronald McDonald House Charities Mobile provides a supportive home environment offering care, compassion, and hope to families with seriously ill and injured children being treated at area hospitals.

To qualify, families must have a child 21 years of age or younger being treated in one of our area hospitals and live at least 20-25 miles away, respite is also available upon request for those who qualify. Hospital staff must provide a referral for accommodations.
