With 50 years of experience, The Bridge is a leading treatment provider in Alabama for adolescents with substance use disorders and for those who need behavioral rehabilitation. Our services include early intervention, outpatient, residential and intensive in-home care. We have locations in 30 counties in Alabama and our caring, professional staff provide services that are individualized for each adolescent and their family.

• Early Childhood programs:
  • Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides a free book each month to children from birth until their fifth birthday.

Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and their family members, friends, and supporters can make the call to or chat online with the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans, where trained counselors are ready to talk confidentially 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • UWSWA operates multiple sites to ensure all community members have a nearby facility.
