Communities of Transformation

COT Mobile seeks to meet people where they are. As a community, we seek to walk with each other as we grow and move towards a stable future. 

• Everyone is welcomed with open arms into a supportive and uplifting environment. We are strategic in our planning of programming geared toward addressing the needs of the current participants. We are working to become part of the continuum of care that non-profits in Mobile offer to families in transition.
• We strive to work with community partners to connect families to resources needed in their long term planning. Change is a process and we want to support you as you take that next step.
• We provide courses and training, as well as organize seminars and other programming on a wide array of topics. Initially we began by offering poverty training but we have since added more of a general leadership curriculum to assist individuals with setting and keeping personal goals by providing a community of accountability and encouragement.
• Our programming is dependent on the needs of those who attend but often includes budgeting, employment, general life skills, or leadership. In the past at our other sites we have also held poverty simulations, work service days, and awareness walks for a variety of causes.
