The beautiful theater seats approximately 230 people and can be reserved for public use.

3D Printed Castle

The public is invited to come to the Maker Lab to tinker or to work on their ongoing projects.

Basic supplies are for sale, but you're welcome to bring your own and use the machines at no extra cost. Depending on your project, staff members may run the machines for you or help you learn how to do it yourself. In most cases, it will be necessary to schedule an appointment.

Knowledgeable staff can help with your job search, whipping your resume into shape and finding resources to prepare for your next interview.

Whether your business is just getting started or already established, our Connection Center has the tools you need We have meeting spaces, sample business plans and librarians that can help find the resources you need to do business better.

Reading Room

Named the Crampton Trust Katharine C. Cochrane Reading Room, this beautiful room houses the Ben May Main Library's fiction collection.

The reading room has plenty of tables available for quiet study on both floors and public computers on the first floor.

Children's Department

Kids have their own space!

The rooms house all the children's fiction books, non-fiction books, movies, TV shows, educational videos, board books and reference books.

Kids can also find places to read, tables to study and a computer room just for them.

AWE Children's Educational Workstation

The AWE Children's Educational Workstations are designed for ages 2 - 8.

Storytime

The Ben May Main Library youth services staff are always coming up with great Storytimes for all ages!

AT&T Technology Center

Public computers are available all over the library, but the largest number are in the Technology Center. Also, staff members are on hand to help you.

Teen Corner

Find all the young adult books, paperbacks, video games, magazines and comic books in this area.

Also in this room are computers just for teens.

Reference room

Head up to the second floor to get help from knowledgeable Reference Librarians and use the extensive Reference Collection housed in the Monte L. & Louise R. Moorer Reference Room.

Main meeting room

The meeting room has a capacity of 60 and is available to be reserved for public use.

Includes a galley kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave.
